The opportunity: Demand Planner EMEA (f/m/x).
The Demand Planner EMEA will be responsible for managing and improving our demand forecasting activities, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring effective inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Regularly update files for internal processes (S&OP Governance, monthly per supplier or affiliate).
- Maintain, consolidate, validate and analyse forecast data in a tool and excel files.
- Conduct regular meetings for improvement, alignment sessions, training, and onboarding (S&OP).
- Manage launch and discontinuation calls, handle NPI and Phase-In/Phase-Out process in cooperation with related departments.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g. forecast accuracy) and drive KPI improvement initiatives with stakeholders.
- Handle ad-hoc requests for reports and analysis.
- Maintain processes and documentation.
- Participate in projects of EMEA Operations and Supply Chain. Perspective to lead projects.
Requirements
- +5 years of experience with S&OP processes and tools in international and multicultural work environment as a Demand Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Cross-functional work experience between Supply Chain, Marketing and Product Management, Sales.
- Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools is a must (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced Business English.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with demand planning software.
- Knowledge in SAP S4 Hana (e.g. OTC, PtP, WTD).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
