Your new responsibilities
  • Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Demand Manager to join our team. The Demand Manager will play a critical role in forecasting customer demand, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring demand and supply balance to support revenue targets.
  • Demand Sensing: Develop and maintain unconstrained demand forecasts using various data sources and methods like statistical forecasting to capture full business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain Planning teams to align consensus forecasts.
  • Sales & Operations Planning: Hand off demand changes and address significant demand evolutions as input for the monthly S&OP cycle and production planning.
  • Demand and Supply Balance: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Revenue Optimization: Support gap closure activities to ensure revenue targets are achieved with profitability.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
  • Reporting: Present regular reports on forecast development and risk & opportunity profiles to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in demand planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain management, or related roles within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Blue Yonder) and advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, culturally aware team environment.
  • Business fluency in English; German is a plus but not required.
