Job summary

C&A is seeking a Delivery Manager (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf to lead store rollout and technical delivery across Europe. You will manage cross-functional teams including Store Development, Visual Merchandising, Procurement and Legal, driving quality, timelines and budgets in a fast-paced international environment.

You bring at least five years of experience in retail rollout or project management, a background in architecture or store concepts, and excellent English and German.

• At least five years in retail rollout, store development or project management.
• Excellent English and German language skills; ability to coordinate across markets.

• Review and adapt technical drawings, datasheets, installation guidelines per standards.
• Own and develop the Store Concept Playbook with cross-functional teams.
• Drive digitalisation of playbook and AI integration across markets.
• Conduct market and store visits to assess fixtures and store execution.
• Support supplier claims, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical input for contracts and tenders with suppliers.
• Support European rollout and monitor timelines, budgets, risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation, tools, and processes.

Your responsibilities

• Review and adapt technical drawings, datasheets, assembly manuals and installation guidelines, ensuring that supplier documentation meets internal standards, brand guidelines and operational requirements
• Own and continuously develop the Store Concept Playbook in collaboration with Store Development, Visual Merchandising, Procurement, Legal and market teams, incorporating new concepts, execution guidelines and best practices
• Drive the digitalisation and AI integration of the playbook and related processes, organise training sessions and support consistent implementation across European markets
• Conduct market and store visits to assess fixtures, materials and store execution against approved technical guidelines, playbooks and brand standards
• Support claims and issue resolution by identifying root causes, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and developing sustainable solutions with suppliers and local teams
• Provide technical input for supplier contracts and tenders, including technical requirements, quality standards, compliance criteria and appendices, while coordinating pilot projects, samples and prototypes
• Support European rollout and modernisation projects, monitoring timelines, budgets, quality standards and project risks in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation, tools, processes and ways of working while supporting innovation in store concepts, materials, sustainability and digital solutions

What you bring

• A degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least five years of experience in retail rollout, store development, project management or technical delivery management
• A strong understanding of technical documentation, store fixtures, materials and the practical execution of store concepts
• Experience coordinating suppliers, technical requirements, samples, prototypes or tender-related activities
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced international environment
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions, markets and external partners
• A structured, hands-on and solution-oriented working style, combined with a strong focus on results
• The ability to navigate a complex matrix organisation and create alignment between different stakeholders
• Excellent English and local-language communication skills. Knowledge of an additional European language is an advantage
