Job Description

The EMEA Deal Desk Specialist is part of the Deal Desk team responsible for all European deal booking activities: pricing, approving non-standard terms, and assisting in winning high-profile and high-volume opportunities. This includes reviewing and preparing accurate bookable contracts and flagging potential revenue recognition issues related to ACS 606 for all deals.

The Deal Desk is a key support function within the Sales process across EMEA, offering the opportunity to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business. This role is remote-based.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with sales teams to maximize bookable revenue, understanding market pricing, analytics, and financial strategies for large, complex deals.
  2. Collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closure.
  3. Approve deals in Salesforce and serve as an escalation point to help move deals forward.
  4. Review exception pricing requests and their justification before forwarding to the Deal Desk Director and CFO.
  5. Share best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies and processes.
  6. Foster relationships with sales leaders and their teams.
  7. Work closely with Sales Coordinators and the Order Management Team.
  8. Assist with ad hoc system projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

To be successful, the candidate should:

  • Have experience with multi-country sales contracts.
  • Ideally have prior experience in a software company and working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Be dynamic, flexible, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment across up to 16 countries.
  • Be fluent in German and English.
  • Be deadline-driven with excellent attention to detail and a self-starter.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Be proactive.
