Job Description:

Remote position (work from home) English Business GmbH, located in Hamburg (Germany), is a language service company and part of The Language Group (US).

We are currently looking for freelance translators with the following language combinations: German into Japanese, Japanese into German (sworn or standard translations).

Specializations include: Law and contracts.

Requirements:

• Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
• a) Have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized higher education institution.
• b) Have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized higher education institution and have at least two years of full-time professional translation experience.
• c) Have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional translation experience.

Other requirements:

• Experience with CAT tools (memoQ) for non-sworn translations.
