• Total 10-15 yrs. of experience working in Global IT Infra & Cloud Operations environment as a Data Center Operations Lead with strong Solution Architecting background.
• Provide general and routine technical support to a broad range of installation, patching, configuration, and updates to virtual infrastructure requiring the ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems effectively to meet established performance metrics. Collaborates and contributes with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems.
• Ability to manage UNIX : FreeBSD, Linux-related issues.
• Ensuring effective and efficient management of day-to-day 24×7 Data Center Operations. (Including industry-leading Cloud hosting like AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Play a key part in driving automation within Data Center and Cloud services through team members.
• Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided by the Data Center Operations and Cloud support teams and continuously strive to improve our Customer Experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows administration, Linux / Unix, FreeBSD, Network and Storage systems
• Ability to build scripts
• Total IT experience 12-15 yrs., with minimum last 10 years in DC Operations.
• Ability to manage end-user computing-related issues
• Excellent communication skills; should be able to handle effective verbal and written communication at all levels including technical teams, SMEs, Cross Functional teams of different IT Infra, Cloud, Application Support areas, different vendors, service providers, key customer stakeholders of projects, and program, senior leadership members at CxO level.
• Extensive experience with legacy and modern DC architecture, Migration from On-prem to Cloud.
• Ability to manage BIND(DNS), Apache (HTTP + SSL), EXIM (SMTP), POP3d, ProFTP, Firewall, Load balancer &, etc.
• Good knowledge of FreeBSD routers, transparent ethernet bridge, differentiated Services, traffic counter, traffic shaper, and packet filtering.
• A solid understanding of routing and routing protocols (Policy routing and RIP / OSPF) and able to troubleshoot network connections / problems
