Overview

Inventory & Asset Management technicians are responsible for inbound/outbound logistics, inventory cycle audits, and Data Center regulatory compliance activities. You will guide employees in warranty processes and Data Bearing Device (DBD) destruction. This role models leadership principles, emphasizes accurate and efficient IAM tasks, and involves stakeholder management for escalations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, logistics, or related field. Equivalent experience also acceptable.

Background Check Requirements

Ability to meet security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/supply chain in IT or logistics, operating heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks).
• Project management experience.
• Certifications such as APICS/ASCM, IAITAM, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, ensuring inbound/outbound processes run smoothly.
• Assess workflows and adjust work assignments to meet timelines.
• Plan, manage, and communicate project plans with stakeholders.
• Document, track, and resolve issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Oversee relationships with third-party vendors for DBD destruction, ensuring proper data destruction.
• Ensure compliance with methodologies for contract and purchase order delivery.
• Process procurement requests for servers, network equipment, SAN, and spares.
• Provide thought leadership and monitor outcomes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and model compliance.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining.
