Eine etablierte Firma sucht einen Datenbankexperten (m/w/d) mit Schwerpunkt auf Oracle-Datenbanken. In dieser Rolle werden Sie für die Durchführung von Leistungsanalysen, Systemoptimierungen und die Unterstützung unserer Kunden verantwortlich sein. Sie arbeiten eng mit dem Service-Management-Team von Oracle zusammen und haben die Möglichkeit, Ihr Wissen in Seminaren und Workshops weiterzugeben. Qualifikationen

• 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Verwaltung von Oracle-Datenbanken.
• 2-3 Jahre Erfahrung in der Leistungsanalyse und Abstimmung von Oracle-Datenbanken.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse erforderlich.

• Durchführung von Leistungsanalysen und Unterstützung bei Tuning-Maßnahmen.
• Optimierung der Datenbanksysteme unserer Kunden.
• Beratung, Betrieb und Problemanalyse von Datenbankumgebungen.

Your tasks

• You will carry out performance analyses and support our customers with suitable tuning measures in the event of performance problems.
• You optimize our customers' database systems
• Your tasks will also include consulting, operation, problem analysis and solution management of database environments in the Oracle environment.
• You will work closely with Oracle's service management team.

Your profile

• (Technical) university degree in computer science or comparable completed training
• 3-5 years of experience in the administration of Oracle databases
• 2-3 years of experience in performance analysis and tuning of Oracle databases
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as strong communication skills
• You have a perfect command of written and spoken German and a good command of English

Technological environment, methods, tools and processes used

• Oracle RDBMS 12c and higher
• Oracle high availability with RAC and Data Guard
• Oracle Cloud Control 13c
• Engineered Systems (e.g. ODA, Exadata) desirable
• Various Linux derivatives (e.g. Red Hat / Oracle Enterprise / SUSE Linux)

Typical project activities

• Performance analyses incl. development of tuning measures and optimization proposals
• Design and implementation of Oracle database systems
