Database Engineer - PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS - Germany Remote

Join a high-impact DevOps team supporting 1,000+ customers worldwide
We’re looking for an experienced Database Engineer to work across both modern Aurora PostgreSQL environments and highly available Oracle RAC clusters. You'll be part of a small, skilled team where your work truly matters.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and maintaining Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle RAC databases ️
• Automating deployments and infrastructure at scale (IaC with Ansible & Terraform)
• Collaborating with software engineers to enhance product performance
• Taking part in a fair, shared 24/7 on-call rotation (we support each other )
• Continuously optimising for cost, performance, and reliability
  

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong production experience with Aurora PostgreSQL
• Proven knowledge of Oracle RAC administration
• Solid grasp of automation tools and DevOps principles
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tech
• Team player comfortable in an international environment
• Bonus: Basic German
