With EUMETSAT, your work isn't just a job—it's a mission to empower decision-makers, protect communities, and safeguard our planet.

Duties
  1. Deliver database administration services to satellite operations, satellite programmes in development, and the scientific community at EUMETSAT;
  2. Lead and coordinate database systems’ engineering and maintenance activities under I2D responsibility;
  3. Support the development and integration of critical applications focusing on database administration service delivery;
  4. Identify optimization opportunities and promote innovation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of database services;
  5. Manage data infrastructure hardware and software procurements;
  6. Maintain data availability through consistent backup and recovery strategies aligned with the organisation’s business continuity policy;
  7. Keep technical baseline documentation up-to-date for the storage infrastructure.
