Job summary

TRUSTEQ sucht eine erfahrene Führungskraft im Bereich Data Strategy, die die Praxis ganzheitlich steuert und Marktauftritt sowie Delivery vorantreibt. Sie entwickeln Angebote im Bereich Data Governance und Data for AI und übernehmen Pre-Sales-Verantwortung von Proposal bis Kundenpräsentationen.

Sie beraten Kunden bei der Entwicklung von Data-Strategien, führen ein kleines Team und gestalten Staffing-Entscheidungen.

Qualifications

• Sie haben 6–8 Jahre relevante Erfahrung im Data-Umfeld (Data Engineering, Data Strategy, BI/Analytics).
• Sie haben erste Führungserfahrung oder Leitungserfahrung in Teams/Praktiken.
• Sie besitzen Erfahrung in Pre-Sales oder Angebotserstellung/RFPs.
• Sie verstehen moderne Data-Plattformen, Data-Architekturen und AI-Trends.
• Sie arbeiten mit Plattformen wie Databricks und Cloud-Services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Sie kommunizieren sicher vor Vorständen und IT-Führungskräften.
• Sie denken unternehmerisch und übernehmen gerne Verantwortung.
• Sie reisen gern, um Projekte vor Ort zu unterstützen.
• Sie sprechen Deutsch und Englisch auf C1-Niveau.

Responsibilities

• Sie übernehmen Ownership der Data Strategy Practice und steuern Marktauftritt sowie Delivery ganzheitlich.
• Sie entwickeln Data-Angebote, Fokus auf Data Governance und Data for AI, positionieren im Markt.
• Sie übernehmen Pre-Sales-Verantwortung von Angebot bis Kundenpräsentationen.
• Sie beraten Kunden bei der Entwicklung von Data-Strategien und Data-for-AI-Fähigkeiten.
• Sie sind primärer Ansprechpartner auf Management-Ebene für Kundenprojekte.
• Sie führen das Team (aktuell 4–5 Personen) in Alltagstätigkeiten, fördern Entwicklung und übernehmen Disziplinarführung.
• Sie tragen zu Staffing- und Recruiting-Entscheidungen bei.
• Sie vertreten unser Angebot extern – im Netzwerk, auf Events und in Publikationen.

Job description

YOUR TASKS

• You take ownership of the Data Strategy practice and manage go-to-market and delivery holistically.
• You further develop our data offerings, with a particular focus on Data Governance and Data for AI, and position them in the market.
• You take on pre-sales responsibility, from proposal writing and RFPs to client presentations.
• You advise clients on developing data strategies and building Data-for-AI capabilities (e.g. agentic AI use cases based on modern data platforms).
• You are responsible for client projects end-to-end and serve as the primary point of contact at management level.
• You lead your team (currently 4-5 people) in day-to-day operations, support their professional and personal development, and take on your first disciplinary leadership responsibilities.
• You contribute to staffing and recruiting decisions for the data practice.
• You represent our offering externally - in your network, at events, and in publications.

YOUR PROFIL

• You have relevant professional experience (6-8 years) in the field of data (Data Engineering, Data Strategy, BI/Analytics), ideally in a consulting environment.
• You have initial experience leading or managing teams or practices (both disciplinary and functional).
• You have initial experience in pre-sales or in preparing proposals/RFPs, or you are keen to build on this.
• You have a deep understanding of modern data platforms, data architectures (data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses), and market trends in the data and AI space.
• You have experience with modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks) and/or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• You communicate confidently with executive boards, managing directors, and IT leadership, and you can structure complex topics clearly.
• You think entrepreneurially and are interested in taking on responsibility for organizational development beyond client projects.
• You are willing to travel to successfully support projects on-site with our clients.
• You have excellent German and English skills (at least C1 in both languages).
