Data Scientist – Specializing in NLP and LLM - Berlin - 75k

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM) to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop and implement cutting-edge NLP and LLM technologies. You’ll have the chance to work in a dynamic, creative environment focused on the application and standardization of these technologies, while realizing your potential in the rapidly evolving NLP field.

Your Role

• Develop AI assistants using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for internal processes and user interactions.
• Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods to extract and structure knowledge from data, adapting LLMs and machine learning models for this purpose.
• Identify and implement innovative applications of NLP and LLMs in business contexts.
• Plan, develop, and optimize infrastructures using DevOps, LLMOps, and cloud services for deployment and maintenance of AI solutions.
• Manage the operation of open-source LLMs and develop prototypes for future AI products.
• Design and implement web applications and APIs for user access to LLMs, integrating them into existing products and solutions.
• Collaborate with external service providers to support AI projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary teams and knowledge sharing within AI networks.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation and technical support for LLM operations.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in statistics, data science, mathematics, computer science or related fields
• Extensive experience in some of the following: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, LLMs, and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python, or other data science languages and related LLM frameworks such as Langchain, Llamaindex and Vector.
• Experience with DevOps tools like: Docker, Git, Shell, and LLMOps.
• Experience with integrating cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven expertise in project management, networking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge transfer.

• Full-time position with 35 hours per week.
• Flexible work hours, with the possibility to increase working hours up to 42 hours per week.
