Qualifikationen

• M.Sc. in Informatik, Mathematik oder verwandtem Bereich mit Fokus auf Datenwissenschaft.

To support the new Liebherr AI Center of Competence in Ulm, we are hiring a motivated data scientist with great interest in analyzing data. In the Data & AI team, we are working on the applications of cutting-edge data science and machine learning techniques in a wide variety of Liebherr products. Among other things, we are applying advanced predictive maintenance and optimization techniques to improve the use of construction machines. To help solve the technical challenges these projects pose, we are looking for a data scientist (m/f/d) familiar with the corresponding state-of-the-art techniques. Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and optimize business processes
• Take responsibility for defining and prioritizing features, coordinating with stakeholders and other developers and ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning and apply them to improve existing models and processes
• Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to deploy and integrate data science solutions into production systems

Your qualifications

• M.Sc. Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field with a focus on Data Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Highly motivated and a collaborative team player who takes responsibility
• Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python)
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with data storage architectures and technologies (e.g. SQL DB, NoSQL DB, data lake)
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English
