Since coming to Frankfurt in 2007, today, you will find our offices with more than 250 employees from 35 nationalities across eight European locations, with Frankfurt being the European Headquarter. We are responsible for the entire marketing communication of our two automotive brands Hyundai and Kia. For our team in Frankfurt, we are looking for you in the role of

Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Location: Frankfurt am Main

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Analytics & Modeling

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced predictive models (e.g., churn, conversion, CLTV, next-best-action) to support CRM decision-making.
  • Define and operationalize customer segmentation frameworks using behavioral, transactional, and lifecycle data.
  • Drive experimentation strategy: design and evaluate A/B tests, holdouts, and lift models to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Serve as a thought partner to CRM strategists and campaign managers, translating data science into impactful business action.
  • Ensure model interpretability and translate data outcomes into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Document all modeling and testing efforts and contribute to best practice frameworks for data science.

Data Infrastructure & Warehouse Development

  • Own the development a data warehouse and ETL processes, ensuring high data quality, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with platform leads, and IT teams to structure campaign and customer data into a unified architecture.
  • Define data standards and governance best practices in collaboration with data governance leads.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in data science, ideally within CRM, eCommerce, or marketing analytics
  • Fluent English skills
  • Proficiency in Python or R (for modeling and data science)
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying predictive models in a marketing context.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience building ETL workflows and working with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Proficient in Python or R, with experience in working with notebooks and version control
  • Solid understanding of customer lifecycle metrics, campaign KPIs, and CRM experimentation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Braze is a strong plus.
  • Ability to influence strategic decisions through data and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
