Jobbeschreibung

We are one of the world's leading market and opinion research providers, empowering businesses and public organisations with actionable insights to make informed decisions. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of data science and analytics to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

The Data Science team is working on the digital transformation of processes, data products, and on customer-specific solutions in the areas of Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Reporting / Visualisation, and building a Data Lake and Analytics Platform.

As a Data Scientist with us, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data warehouse and analytics platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge data science and analytics solutions that drive business growth and innovation to generate new insights for clients in all industries.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and maintenance of our data warehouse and analytics platform using Python.
  • Optimize and extend existing data processing pipelines, focusing on standardization and automation.
  • Design and implement software solutions for analyzing structured and unstructured data from surveys, customer data warehouses (first party data), and other sources.
  • Apply a wide range of state-of-the-art algorithms and analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from data.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on process optimization, data integration, and analysis.
Your Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science and Data Analytics, answering business questions with analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI, and a curiosity about learning new technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and practical experience with relevant libraries (like pandas, numpy, sklearn, etc.), familiar with ETL / ELT processes, common data exchange protocols, interfaces, and data formats. Experience in database systems / SQL and Linux is a plus, especially if you have worked in agile teams.
  • Very good quantitative degree (M.Sc.), e.g., in STEM, Social Science, Quantitative Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • A team player with the mindset of an in-house consultant, who loves to drive topics owned rather than being told what to do. Structured in work style and meticulous.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) - German is a plus!
Shape Your Future with Us!
  • Comprehensive training and the opportunity to work independently in an advisory and executive capacity in the international environment of an attractive growth market.
  • A highly motivated, ambitious, and dynamic team, international challenges, and extraordinarily exciting projects in a global environment.
  • Support from the entire team in your activities.
  • A professional feedback culture with regular objective performance reviews and room to grow.
  • An attractive remuneration complemented by social benefits such as company pension schemes.
  • State-of-the-art technology and a comfortable workplace in our office locations in Hamburg or Munich.
  • Workation opportunities.
  • Mobile and flexible work options.
  • Company Bike program.
  • Grant for the “Deutschlandticket”.
