The Data Science team is working on the digital transformation of processes, data products and on customer-specific solutions in the areas of Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Reporting / Visualisation, and on building a Data Lake and Analytics Platform.

As a Data Scientist with us, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data warehouse and analytics platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge data science and analytics solutions that drive business growth and innovation to generate new insights for clients in all industries.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and maintenance of our data warehouse and analytics platform using Python
• Optimize and extend existing data processing pipelines, focusing on standardization and automation
• Design and implement software solutions for analyzing structured and unstructured data from surveys, customer data warehouses (first party data), and other sources
• Apply a wide range of state of the art algorithms and analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from data
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on process optimization, data integration, and analysis

Your Profile

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science and Data Analytics, answering business questions with analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI and are curious about learning new technologies
• Strong knowledge of Python and practical experience with relevant libraries (like pandas, numpy, sklearn etc) and are familiar with ETL / ELT processes, common data exchange protocols, interfaces, and data formats. Experience in database systems / SQL and Linux and working in agile teams is a plus!
• Very good quantitative degree (M.Sc.), e.g. in STEM, Social Science, Quantitative Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields
• A team player with the mindset of an inhouse consultant, structured in work style, and meticulous
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) - German is a plus!
