What you can expect

• As a Data Scientist in our AI Lab, you develop and implement state-of-the-art AI and machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems and demonstrate their value to stakeholders.
• You actively participate in the strategic direction of the company and contribute to value creation.
• Additionally, you work on innovative and disruptive topics, considering current scientific research and market trends.
• You apply statistical methods agilely and further develop them to address forward-looking questions, either in collaboration with various departments or independently.
• You stay up-to-date with trends in data science and AI and influence the adoption of these trends within the organization.
• You are responsible for creating presentations of complex data science and AI concepts for various audiences, ensuring tailored data storytelling to convincingly convey insights and results.
• You design and test new technologies in the field of AI and machine learning and work closely with other data scientists and machine learning engineers to transition proof-of-concept solutions into productive implementations.

What makes you stand out

• You hold a master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• You have relevant professional experience in data science and AI, with a strong focus on research and development of proof of concept.
• Additionally, you possess good knowledge of Python and SQL and have experience working with Azure and Snowflake platforms.
• You have a solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in an agile environment.
• You are a talented communicator with excellent presentation skills to create compelling data stories.
• You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
• Furthermore, you bring enthusiasm for current scientific research and market trends in AI and machine learning and continuously educate yourself in these areas.
• Your fluent German language skills in both written and spoken form are complemented by fluent English skills.
