The role of a Data Scientist at Dataiku is quite unique. Our Data Scientists not only code solutions to real-world problems but also participate in client-facing endeavors throughout the customer journey. This includes supporting platform discovery, helping integrate Dataiku with other tools, providing user training, and co-developing data science projects from design to deployment.

In this role you'll help the team:

1. Co-develop production-level data science projects with customers
2. Analyze and investigate various data types and machine learning applications across industries
3. Assist users in mastering the Dataiku platform through training, office hours, and support
4. Provide data science expertise to customers and internal teams
5. Develop custom Python-based plugins in collaboration with Solutions, R&D, and Product teams

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Fluent in English and advanced/fluent in German
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills
• Empathy and willingness to share knowledge
• Ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences
• 2-10 years of experience with Python and SQL
• Experience building ML models and using tools like sklearn
• Knowledge of data visualization in Python, R
• Understanding of data systems like Cloud, Hadoop, SQL

Additional skills that are a plus:

• Experience in consulting or customer-facing data science roles
• Experience with Data Engineering or MLOps
• Building WebApps with Javascript, RShiny, or Dash
• API development experience
• Familiarity with enterprise data science tools
• Passion for teaching or public speaking
