voize is a fast-growing AI SaaS company seeking a Data Protection Manager. You own data protection end-to-end, answering customer and DPO questions, maintaining GDPR foundations, and shaping compliant data handling as the company scales.

You collaborate with tech leads to map data flows, review DPAs, and coordinate with the external DPO. Flexible hybrid work between Berlin office and remote across Germany, with stock options and generous benefits.

• Experience in a modern SaaS environment, including AI products.
• Strong understanding of data flows in software products and how protection maps to it.
• Ability to build processes, policies, and connect data protection with information security and regulatory topics.

• Maintain GDPR foundation: retention periods, records of processing activities, and technical/organizational measures; implement with teams.
• Keep an up-to-date picture of data flows within the product, partnering with tech leads.
• Review vendor contracts and data processing agreements (DPA/AVV) and support negotiations.
• Maintain data protection documentation in the trust center and coordinate with the external DPO.

Your Mission

Delight customers, optimize processes. As Data Protection Manager (m/w/d) at voize you own data protection end-to-end: answering customer and DPO questions quickly, maintaining the GDPR foundation behind those answers, and shaping how a fast-growing AI company handles sensitive data responsibly.

Your Daily Business

No two days are alike. You own incoming data protection inquiries from customers and their data protection officers end-to-end. From broad questionnaires to very specific questions. You maintain our internal GDPR foundation: retention periods, records of processing activities, technical and organisational measures - and you make sure they are actually implemented together with the teams that own the tools.

You keep an up-to-date picture of how customer data flows through our product, working closely with our tech leads.

You review vendor contracts and data processing agreements (DPA/AVV) and support the negotiations.

You maintain the data protection documentation in our trust centre and act as our main interface to our external DPO.

Your Skillset

• Hands-on data protection experience with a clear GDPR specialization
• Experience in a modern SaaS environment, including products that use AI, and the confidence to assess and structure the compliant use of international sub-processors instead of ruling them out
• A solid grasp of how data flows through a software product, and the curiosity to keep that picture current
• Structured thinking: you build processes and policies, and you see how data protection connects to information security, quality and regulatory topics rather than treating it as a silo
• A pragmatic, creative approach: you find the compliant path, explain it clearly and enjoy hands-on ownership in a fast-changing environment
• Business-fluent English (German is a plus)
