Your Role

As Data Protection Analyst, you will be part of the Security & Privacy Governance Team. You will be responsible for Data Protection and/or privacy related tasks and projects and work closely with other departments to maintain and improve our state-of-the-art technological and organizational measures.

Your Responsibilities

• Review and implement the Data Protection policies and procedures.
• Work with the Information Security Manager and various teams within the organization to execute the data protection policies and take adequate measures to ensure the defined Data Protection guidelines are maintained.
• Proactively implement steps to improve the processes and systems to avoid, if not remediate, issues and findings.
• Support teams and projects, and propose practical and pragmatic solutions, e.g., on Data Protection and Privacy strategy, and goals: interpretation and implementation of requirements, policies, and standards; customer communication, including requests for proposals and audit requests, and handling of issues, incidents, and temporary deviations from policies/standards.
• Prepare and support audits, access requests, changes, and new initiatives.
• Work on a global scale, dealing with diverse requirements and legislations, including GDPR, UK GDPR, Singapore PDPA, the Dubai Data Protection Law, and the diverse laws of the USA.

Your Profile

• At least 4 years’ experience working in Data Protection or as a consultant, focused on the implementation of privacy-related controls and processes on an international basis.
• Passion for real-world implementation of Data Protection and Privacy.
• Ability to understand and help align all stakeholders on a shared vision.
• Ability to prepare/explain related topics on the appropriate level to technical and non-technical people, and to think “outside the box” to achieve an objective.
• Highly motivated to learn about new topics, laws, technologies, concepts, and business use cases.
• Certifications in data protection and/or privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM, CDPO) are a plus.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English (CEF C1 or above; native English is a plus).
