Job summary

SThree Germany is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead (m/f/d) for an international HR transformation project. The role focuses on global data migration strategy, testing, cutover, and go-live support, with hands-on operations.

The position is 100% remote for a 6-month engagement, with potential extension and a possible reduction to 3-4 days per week after 4-6 months. Strong Workday and SAP experience is required.

• Facilitate data mapping workshops.
• Consolidate migration status reporting and risk management; report to stakeholders and obtain sign-off.

For an international HR transformation project, I am currently looking for an experienced Data Migration Lead (m/f/d) with a focus on Workday and SAP.

The role focuses on the global management of data migration, covering everything from strategy and methodology to test migrations, cutover activities, and go-live support. We are seeking a candidate who is both conceptually strong and capable of working hands-on in operations.

Framework Conditions

• Start: From November 1st (latest possible start by the end of December)
• Duration: 6 months with the option to extend
• Capacity: 100%; after 4-6 months, a reduction to approximately 3-4 days per week is possible
• Location: 100% remote

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the global data migration strategy and methodology
• Definition of mapping and transformation rules
• Planning and management of test migrations, dress rehearsals, and cutover activities
• Coordination of international country teams and implementation partners
