About You & The Position
You will lead our data acquisition projects, responsible for their successful execution. While collaborating with freelancers or team members, you will be the driving force behind these projects.
- You are a Data Nerd at heart and an experienced Data Engineer with strong Python skills.
- You’re passionate about diving into datasets, developing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and maintainable ETL data pipelines. You are comfortable working with large data volumes, especially in a cloud-based environment, transforming data into meaningful insights.
- You have a knack for designing efficient data models and ensuring seamless integration with our applications.
- You excel in web scraping, ideally with tools like Scrapy, to gather data from sources such as news feeds, company web pages, and external APIs.
- Data quality is a priority for you. You know how to define and implement manual and automatic data checks to ensure the highest quality data for our users.
- Experience in AI, especially using LLMs for natural language processing, and operationalizing ML models, would be a significant asset.
- As a member of our small but dedicated team, you’re ready to take responsibility from day one.
- Finally, as a team player, you believe in collaboration and knowledge sharing. You enjoy learning from others as much as sharing your expertise.
