Your tasks

• Join our Personalization & Recommendation Team and work on delivering the best personalized experience for our users across Movies, Series, Podcasts, Magazines, and more.
• Contribute to building a scalable personalization infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies that keep pace with our growing customer base.
• Utilize various techniques to personalize user experience and implement stream and batch pro-cessing data pipelines for article indexes and machine learning models.
• Implement machine learning algorithms, ranging from single recommendation algorithms to whole-page optimization algorithms, and design data validation strategies to ensure model performance over time.
• Ensure measurable asset performance through A/B tests and tracking key metrics, and improve the recommendation infrastructure's reliability, scalability, and performance to cater to millions of us-ers.
• Work in an agile, international team with Data Scientists, Infrastructure Engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver a unique personalized experience to users.

Your profile

• Minimum requirement of a B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field

• Proven track record as a data engineer or software engineer

• Proficient in Python or Java/Scala programming languages

• Capable of writing efficient, well-tested code that's scalable and maintainable

• Hands-on experience with developing in the cloud, preferably GCP.

• Advantageous to have experience developing scalable data pipelines.

• Thrives in an agile team environment, embraces challenges, and thinks outside the box.

• Excellent English communication skills to complement your profile.
