We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Supply Data Solutions Team, dedicated to building and maintaining high-impact data products. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop reliable and well-engineered solutions that drive insights and optimize business processes. What you will do

1. Build and maintain data pipelines that deliver actionable insights through various channels (Excel reports, BigQuery tables, Looker dashboards)
2. Develop practical optimization solutions for business challenges
3. Own your data products end-to-end: from infrastructure as code to production monitoring
4. Write efficient Python code using AWS (Lambda, Batch, Step Functions)
5. Design and implement robust data models that serve business needs
6. Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments using GitLab and CloudFormation
7. Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and implement effective solutions
8. Monitor and improve systems proactively
9. Mentor junior colleagues

Who you are

1. Strong software engineering background with solid programming fundamentals
2. Experience in building maintainable, production-grade applications
3. Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
4. Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling principles
5. Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and version control (Git)
6. Proactive mindset and ability to identify improvement opportunities
7. Understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices
8. Self-driven approach to problem-solving and learning
