The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer (m/f/d) with expertise in DBT and Snowflake to join our dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing development of our data infrastructure and analytics solutions. In this role, you will work closely with ATOSS data analysts to understand business needs and specify data requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across teams.

Key Responibilities
  • Work with diverse data sources, including relational databases, flat files, Excel, HDFS/Big Data systems, and high-performance analytical databases, to unify and centralize data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable data transformation pipelines using DBT on Snowflake, ensuring high-quality data processing.
  • Develop, optimize, and implement DBT models, ensuring best practices in data architecture and documentation within Snowflake.
  • Automate and manage data workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery, supporting business intelligence and reporting.
  • Ensure efficient DBT & Snowflake monitoring and troubleshooting and provide solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with DBT and Snowflake in a data engineering and/or data analyst role.
  • Strong experience & knowledge of Sales, Marketing, HR and ERP data incl. relevant KPIs and reporting
  • Extensive experience with modern data engineering frameworks, tools, and practices, including data pipelines, orchestration, and data modeling.
  • Experience with integration from API sources
  • Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
