The Team - your impact

Combine your passion for technology with meaningful work on socially relevant topics. Join our international team of over 130 data scientists and engineers, contributing your expertise and learning from others. You will consult on technical feasibility with stakeholders and implement cutting-edge machine learning solutions using methodologies like NLP, computer vision, forecasting, and optimization. We utilize platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, and OpenAI, providing excellent infrastructure, training, and certification opportunities.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable data models and data warehousing solutions to support BI and analytics.
2. Optimize SQL queries for ETL processes.
3. Develop automated data pipelines with Python.
4. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and structure.
5. Evaluate emerging data technologies for integration into cloud environments.
6. Stay updated on data engineering, AI, and tech trends to foster innovation.

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

Required:

1. Strong experience with SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
2. Excellent Python skills, especially in data pipelines automation.
3. Understanding of data engineering best practices, including data quality, scalability, and performance.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
5. Proficiency in German (written and spoken).

Desired:

1. Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
2. Knowledge of Azure Data Factory.
3. Experience with dbt for data transformation.
4. Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
5. Experience with Git version control.
6. Interest or experience in Data Science.
