Enhancing our Lakehouse Platform (AWS-based)

• Improve and expand our existing data platform
• Implement new features into existing ETL pipelines (Python/PySpark) and develop new ones

Data Integration & Interface Development

• Connect new internal and external data sources via APIs
• Structure their integration into our data layers

Delivering Use Cases End-to-End

• Work closely with various departments to understand business needs
• Develop data-driven solutions from data modeling to dashboard delivery

Analytics & Self-Service Enablement

• Ensure our BI tools (QuickSight, Athena) are scalable and high-performing
• Support teams with SQL-based analysis for complex business questions

YOUR MISSION

Must Haves

• A degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field
• At least 2 years of experience in a full-time job as Data Engineer / BI Specialist
• Excellent Python skills
• Hands-on experience with Big Data frameworks, especially PySpark
• Strong SQL skills, especially for analytical purposes
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI)
• Solid software engineering practices: clean code, unit testing, and CI/CD knowledge

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, SQS, etc.)
• Understanding of Lakehouse architectures and open table formats (e.g., Apache Hudi, Delta Lake, Iceberg)
• Knowledge of Machine Learning
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code
