About the position

We are looking for a skilled Analytics Data Engineer with a strong foundation in data engineering and hands-on experience in data analysis and BI tooling for a remote position in Germany.

Crealytics is an award-winning full-funnel digital marketing agency with over 15 years of experience crafting omnichannel media strategies for leading B2C and B2B businesses. Our expertise in driving profitable online and offline sales is informed by the reality of a privacy-first digital landscape. We focus on helping our clients efficiently allocate budget across their channels and campaign mix while driving operational excellence to unlock incremental revenue growth.

Our agency team drives revenue for over 100 well-known brands, including Foot Locker, Staples, New Look, Revolve, and Urban Outfitters. With a diverse, inclusive team of 100+ international employees, we operate remotely and from offices in New York, Chicago, Berlin, London, and Mumbai.

Your responsibilities
  • You build analytical data products and provide valuable insights to business stakeholders in innovative leading e-commerce brands.
  • You use Python and SQL with Jupyter notebooks to analyze digital marketing performance.
  • Design and deploy features for our cloud-based Data Lake and our Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) product in an agile, test-driven environment.
  • Build scalable data-processing pipelines in the cloud using technologies like Apache Spark, BigQuery, micro-services, Kubernetes.
Your profile
  • 2+ years of data engineering and development experience.
  • Passionate about data with a strong ability to learn new technologies.
  • Proficient in Python and ideally in the following programming languages: Scala, Ruby, GoLang. Experienced with SQL and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
  • Familiarity with Spark, BigQuery, event-driven architectures. Experience with infrastructure-as-Code (IaC, e.g., Terraform) tools is a plus.
  • You are familiar with dashboarding solutions like PowerBI, Looker, Tableau.
