Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a large-scale data centre project in Germany. This on-site role is hands-on, taking complex mechanical infrastructure from installation through testing, commissioning and handover, with a strong emphasis on coordinating across discipline teams.

You will review drawings, support commissioning plans, witness testing, and contribute to O&M documentation and client training.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical commissioning in complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, LTHW, ventilation and pressurisation systems.
• Understanding of commissioning processes, sequencing and system interfaces.

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Data Centre

Germany | Permanent | Up to €100,000

A major international engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join a large-scale data centre project in Germany.

This is a hands-on commissioning role for an engineer who wants to be on site, close to the systems and involved in taking complex mechanical infrastructure from installation through testing, commissioning and handover.

With a strong pipeline of projects secured for the next 5+ years, this is a genuine long-term opportunity within a growing European data centre operation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple disciplines
• A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Data centre experience is a major advantage, but strong mechanical commissioning experience from other mission-critical or technically complex environments will be considered.
