Qualifikationen

• 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung mit Azure und Datenzentrum-Management.
• Starke Kenntnisse in Prozessautomatisierung und Monitoring.
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse und Bereitschaft zu reisen.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Our IT department self-image is to be the consultant and driving force in the enterprise for future-oriented IT technologies and value-creating applications. Working and collaborating hand in hand with the business functions, it develops a wide range of solutions for the more than 40 Dr. Oetker subsidiaries worldwide. In addition, the IT colleagues provide advice and drives change to the departments on harmonizing their business architecture, optimizing their processes, and collaborating on concepts for new business models. The team of about 300 people from 50 locations in 40 countries is thus driving digitization at Dr. Oetker.

Microsoft Azure is a strategic cloud platform at Dr Oetker. Currently a global data center harmonization and standardization project is running. Many local data centers are being decommissioned and migrated to Azure. Nevertheless, on-premises data center capabilities are still required at many of our production sites. The hybrid approach with modern edge computing solutions will shape the coming years. In addition, Azure PaaS services must be developed in close collaboration with our Business Architecture Teams in the next years. In this exciting and varied environment, you can actively shape and drive forward the digital future of Dr. Oetker and the transformation to holistic, modern, secure, and future-ready data center operations.

In this position you will implement our data center strategy and ensure reliable and efficient data center operations. You will also continuously increase the maturity level of data center security to protect personal data and Dr. Oetker's intellectual property in a diversified international team.

Within your role, you support local ESX VMWare and Hyper-V environments plus other On-Premises systems (Windows server, etc.). You are an appreciated consultant in conception, designing and implementing edge computing infrastructures.

Furthermore, you are responsible for our global Monitoring and Backup solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING

You are ideally suited for this position with a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.

You have several years (3-5) of professional experience in which you were able to develop a strong understanding of processes and technologies and gain experience in the Azure platform (Azure Foundation, Scaffold, and Landing Zone) and on prem data center management and operations.

In addition, you have profound knowledge and experience in process automation (Azure and on premise), server monitoring and backup solutions.

Strong trouble shooting skills, process automation knowledge (Azure CLI, PowerShell, Terraform).

2nd and 3rd level Support as well as system monitoring, managing performance, tuning of systems and or making recommendations to improve end-user experience are a matter of course for you.

Ideally, you have practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server management and operations.

SANNAS management experience would be considered an asset.

Managing Azure Edge deployments will be a key responsibility as we move forward with our digital transformation.

Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for systems and services that will be supported.

Furthermore, you will be self-motivated with conceptual and problem-oriented thinking, and you will enjoy collaborating with people from several teams and countries accompanied by the participation in international projects.

Your profile is completed by your fluent English language skills combined with your effective communication skills.

A high willingness to travel and to work outside of normal business hours in emergency situations is assumed.
