Data Centre/Mission Critical Specialist at TGS

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan, execute, test, and document patching and structured cabling infrastructure within client data centres
• Coordinate and lead small to medium-sized projects, including managing external or internal technical personnel
• Perform fault diagnosis and basic repairs on fibre and copper data cabling (in collaboration with QA teams)
• Conduct fibre splicing work to high standards
• Install and modify active equipment on instruction from client representatives

What We’re Looking For

• Completed technical apprenticeship or at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar field
• Solid experience with fibre (LWL) and copper structured cabling systems
• Familiarity with cable installation and cable routing best practices
• Ideally experienced with testing tools and methods in structured cabling environments
• Self-motivated, organised, and flexible team player
• Good communication skills in German (must have) and English (desirable)
• Must hold a valid EU driving licence and provide a clean police background check
