Job summary

Arvato in Germany is seeking a Data Center Associate (m/f/x) for our Mörfelden-Walldorf site. You will support material and inventory management, shipping, and basic server hardware tasks in a dynamic data center environment.

This 1-year position offers hands-on experience, onboarding, and the potential for extension. You’ll work with IT systems, documentation, and safety standards, contributing to operational excellence in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Initial experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or technical environments.
• Very good English skills for international communication.
• A valid Class B driving license and willingness to perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, team-oriented, proactive with strong communication and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Material & Inventory Management: Receive, check, and organize incoming materials with accurate stock levels and proper documentation.
• Logistics & Shipping: Prepare, pack, and dispatch equipment following internal procedures with quality and traceability.
• Technical Support in the Data Center: Assist with installation of server racks, hardware components, and basic cabling per layouts and work instructions.
• Operational Excellence & Safety: Maintain a clean, compliant workspace following safety and quality standards.
• Equipment Handling & Movement: Safely move and position equipment and support stock checks and system updates.

• Material & Inventory Management:Receive, check, and organize incoming materials while ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation within internal systems.

• Technical & Operational Experience:Ideally, you have initial experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or technical environments and are confident using hand and power tools.
• IT & System Skills:You are comfortable working with basic IT systems, inventory tools, and digital documentation, showing a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Language Skills:You haveverygood English skillsto communicate effectively in an international environment.
• Mobility & Physical Readiness:A valid Class B driving license and willingness to carry out physical tasks in a safe and responsible manner are required.
