Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Data Center Associate (m/f/x) at our Mörfelden-Walldorf site. The role covers logistics, inventory management, and basic IT tasks in a fast-paced data center environment.

You will receive, organize and dispatch equipment, support rack installations, and maintain safe, compliant operations in a technical setting. Limited to 1 year with long-term perspective; strong teamwork and reliable communication are key.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or technical environments is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Good communication in English for an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and organize incoming materials while ensuring accurate stock levels and documentation.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch equipment with traceability and quality control.
• Assist with installation of server racks, hardware components, and basic cabling following instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant work environment with safety and quality standards.
• Move and handle technical equipment within the data center and support stock checks and system updates.
• Use basic IT systems and inventory tools in a structured, detail-oriented manner.

• Material & Inventory Management:Receive, check, and organize incoming materials while ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation within internal systems.
• Logistics & Shipping Processes:Prepare, pack, and dispatch equipment in line with internal procedures, ensuring quality, completeness, and traceability at all times.
• Technical Support in the Data Center:Assist with the installation of server racks, hardware components, and basic cabling activities following layouts and work instructions precisely.
• Operational Excellence & Safety:Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment by adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Equipment Handling & Movement:Safely move, position, and handle technical equipment within the data center while supporting stock checks and system updates.
• Technical & Operational Experience:Ideally, you have initial experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or technical environments and are confident using hand and power tools.
• IT & System Skills:You are comfortable working with basic IT systems, inventory tools, and digital documentation, showing a structured and detail‑oriented approach.
• Language Skills:You haveverygood English skillsto communicate effectively in an international environment.
• Mobility & Physical Readiness:A valid Class B driving license and willingness to carry out physical tasks in a safe and responsible manner are required.
