We are seeking a hands-on Data Analytics & Insights Specialist with strong technical and analytical expertise to join our CFO / CEO office on a contract basis. This role is critical to setting up a robust, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure that enables clear decision-making across the business.

You will be responsible for setting up and validating all core data sources, creating centralised and verified data lakes, building and maintaining interactive dashboards for financial and performance reporting, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

Requirements:

• Set up and maintain integrations between core business systems to create a single source of truth across departments.
• Lead the validation and vetting of all incoming data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Design and implement data verification and audit processes to maintain long-term data quality.
• Build and manage centralised data lakes, integrating data from finance, marketing, sales, HR, and other departments.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve interactive dashboards (using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) for real-time performance monitoring and KPI tracking for executive leadership.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights and visual dashboards.
• Investigate data discrepancies, trends, and anomalies using both quantitative analysis (SQL, Python, Excel) and qualitative methods (interviews, stakeholder research, business process mapping).
• Produce insightful reports and recommendations to support executive-level decision-making.
• Continuously evaluate and optimise existing data tools and processes.
• Educate internal users on dashboards, data definitions, and appropriate usage.Data Analyst Requirements:
