We are seeking a versatile Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in bringing our company-wide data capabilities closer to local decision-making. Embedded within Bauer Media Audio Ireland Digital Team, this role will serve as a trusted analytics partner helping unlock insights across the whole Irish business, with particular emphasis on advertising revenue, digital content, and consumer competitions.

This is a unique opportunity to blend technical skills with business impact, working hands-on with our modern data platform while partnering closely with stakeholders to explore, explain, and act on data.

You’ll be part of a growing team, helping accelerate the use of data and day-to-day decision-making., product creation and contribute to the business longer-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Delivery

• Help translate business questions from sales, content, competitions, or product teams into targeted data analysis.
• Use available data assets (dashboards, data sandboxes, analytics and modelling layers) to deliver insights quickly and accurately.
• Build lightweight visualisations or dashboards where needed to support decision-making.

Data Exploration & QA

• Perform deep-dive analysis across audience behaviour, ad revenue, content performance, competitions and marketing effectiveness.
• Identify and report data anomalies or pipeline issues, collaborating with the central data team to resolve them.
• Contribute to quality assurance and validation of new data layers or reporting logic in-market.

Local Enablement & Advocacy

• Support the adoption of data tools and products within the Irish business, helping stakeholders understand and trust the data.
• Act as a bridge between the Irish teams and BMA’s central Data & Decision Sciences function, raising needs, feedback, or data opportunities.
• Help market stakeholders on how to frame data questions, encouraging scalable, self-serve thinking.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in data analysis or business intelligence roles, ideally, but not limited to media, marketing, digital product, or commercial environments.
• Strong SQL skills, confident writing performant queries and joining data sets.
• Comfortable with modern data stacks (. GCP, BigQuery, Snowflake) and visualisation tools (. Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
• Experience analysing commercial or behavioural data (ad sales, digital engagement, competitions, or subscriptions).
• Prior experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting non-technical teams.
