Job Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic DACH Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will report directly to the Sales Director and play a pivotal role in driving growth across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Your primary responsibilities will include developing and nurturing relationships with key industrial clients in sectors such as Energy, Railway, and Aeronautics, as well as managing a network of distributors to enhance market presence. You will be an integral part of our EMEA sales team, collaborating closely with three other dedicated members who are committed to covering and growing the region.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and grow our business with industrial clients in sectors like Energy, Rail, and Aeronautics.
  • Develop, manage, and support a network of specialized distributors in the DACH region.
  • Negotiate and work with regional distributors to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies.
  • Develop andimplement promotional strategies and campaigns in collaboration with distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and distributors.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training for both clients and distributors sales teams.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, staying up-to-date on the latest product offerings and industry developments.
  • Manage the entire sales process, including negotiations with end-users and distributors.
  • Identify and assess new client and market needs, ensuring distributor involvement in key opportunities.
  • Participate in technical workshops, national and international exhibitions, and sales events.
  • UtilizeCRMdatasoftwarefor lead tracking, opportunity updates, and offers.
  • Support new market development in line with company strategies.

Profile :

  • Educational background in business, electronics, or a related technical field (Bachelor’s level or higher).
  • Proven experience in the sales of technical products, especially in the industrial or instrumentation sector.
  • Experience in managing and working with distributor networks in the DACH region.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity and electronics applications with a particular emphasis on measurement instruments.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Capable of managing relationships effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft office software
