As we grow our presence in the DACH region, we’re looking for a talented Enterprise Expansion Account Executive to join our team and drive meaningful growth within our existing customer base.

As a DACH Enterprise Expansion Account Executive at Asana, you will be responsible for expanding our footprint within large enterprise accounts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will partner closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to identify new revenue opportunities, mitigate churn risk, and ensure our customers get the most value from Asana’s platform.

This role is based in our Munich office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through upsell and cross-sell in assigned enterprise accounts.
  • Develop deep account strategies using customer insights, data, and stakeholder mapping.
  • Proactively identify and manage churn and contraction risks in partnership with Customer Success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineers, Field Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Operations.
  • Utilize Asana’s and third-party tools (Salesforce, Clari, Outreach) to manage pipeline, forecast, and personalize customer engagement.
  • Navigate complex buying processes involving multiple stakeholders and departments across the DACH region.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide timely forecasts and reports.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of the DACH market and cultural nuances to tailor your approach.
About you
  • 6–10 years of sales experience, including 3–5 years in enterprise account expansion or customer growth.
  • Proven success selling SaaS or B2B technology solutions into large enterprise clients.
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven sales tools and modern CRM/work management platforms.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
  • A passion for helping customers succeed and driving impactful outcomes.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between €116,050- €147,950. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
