Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an experienced cybersecurity architect in Munich to lead security initiatives for embedded medical devices. You will design and implement strategies, assess threats, and ensure compliance with evolving standards across development teams.

The role requires 7+ years in embedded cybersecurity, a Master’s degree, and fluency in English and German. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and secure software architectures will be key.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Software/System Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience for embedded software.
• Fluent in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for embedded medical devices.
• Analyze and model threats based on latest standards.
• Use cyber analysis tools for vulnerability assessment and countermeasures.
• Advise development team on secure architectures and best practices.
• Identify and implement security practices for system and software decomposition.

Qualifications

• have a Master’s degree in Software/System Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technologybring at least 7 years of experience with a focus on cybersecurity for embedded softwarehave strong expertise in object-oriented programming and design in the context of cybersecurityideally, have experience with medical cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 60601-4-1)communicate fluently in English and German
