Qualifikationen

This position reports to Cyber Security Service Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that the service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to the satisfaction of our customers. The Cyber Security Technical Sales Support role involves providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers. This position requires a deep understanding of cyber security solutions and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Providing in-depth knowledge of cyber security products and solutions to support the sales process.
  • Assisting in identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate cyber security solutions.
  • Providing technical consulting on Cyber Security Service solutions to ABB sales and customers.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth.
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical quotations.

Qualifications for the role

  • Previous experience in a technical sales support or similar role, preferably in the cyber security industry.
  • You have several years of experience in the IT field, having worked in an IT company or relevant IT or OT area. Experience in the automation environment is an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cyber security systems, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • You have advanced knowledge in Security Operations Center processes and functions.
  • You are highly adept in common security norms and standards.
  • You are at ease communicating in German and English.
  • You are passionate about providing flexible solutions to customer inquiries and problems.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or IEC62443 expert are a plus.
