Qualifikationen

Summary

We are looking for a “Customs Expert (f/m/d)” for the “Customs” department in Ulm, Immenstaad or Oberkochen as soon as possible.

The Customs department is part of the Finance organization and ensures customs compliance and the strategic alignment of the customs strategy within the company. The advertised position includes support for far-reaching customs-related topics and processes of the company.

Your Tasks

• Customs master data maintenance: Responsibility for the maintenance and updating of customs master data and tariff classifications in our systems.

• Monitoring of authorizations: Monitoring and control of customs authorizations and their requirements.

• Participation in audits: Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements.

• Supporting the operational processing of imports and exports (customs declaration).

• Supporting the development, implementation and optimization of efficient processes to ensure customs compliance.

• Assisting with excise tax consulting, i.e., ensuring the proper collection and payment of excise taxes.

• Analyzing and documenting the origin of goods and optimizing them to take advantage of customs benefits.

• Implementing SAP GTS: Introducing and implementing SAP GTS, including associated training and documentation.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of customs, preferably finance or comparable, for example economics or comparable.

• Many years of experience in customs.

• Sound knowledge of European customs regulations, especially with regard to authorizations, tariff classifications, excise duties and preferential arrangements.

• Experience in the implementation and monitoring of authorizations and the implementation of audits advantageous.

• SAP-GTS knowledge advantageous.

• Structured, careful and solution-oriented way of working.

• Team spirit and strong communication skills.

• Very good knowledge of German and English.
