A growing cybersecurity company is seeking an experienced Security Consultant Key Accounts to support its largest enterprise customers. In this role, you will take technical responsibility for clients' vulnerability management, advising and improving their use of Greenbone solutions. Several years of proven experience in technical IT security consulting -ideally with a focus on vulnerability management
In-depth knowledge of current security technologies and common IT architectures (network, infrastructure, cloud)
Experience with security-relevant processes in large organisations or government bodies
Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate technical topics at various levels - from administrators to senior management
Knowledge of automation, API usage, and integration of security solutions in complex environments (e.g., via Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for consultancy work
Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken (both languages are must-haves)
Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 20–30%), and internationally if required
As part of our strong growth trajectory and global expansion, we are looking for an experienced Security Consultant Key Accounts(m/f/d) with a focus on our largest enterprise customers.
You will take on a key role in the technical support of our clients around vulnerability management. You will act as a technical counterpart on equal footing - with a deep understanding of IT security, combined with the ability to grasp and moderate complex customer requirements and feed them into product development. You will build long-lasting technical relationships with security stakeholders in large enterprises or government authorities, understand their challenges and translate them into concrete recommendations for action - both for the customer and internally for our product teams coordination and clear priorities. This includes:
Technical responsibility for selected strategic clients (Enterprise/Government Agencies)
Advising and supporting customers in building, operating, and further developing their vulnerability management
Conducting technical deep dives, workshops, and health checks to continually improve the use of Greenbone solutions
Close coordination with the Product Department to develop our vulnerability management solutions based on customer feedback
Analysing complex infrastructures, supporting architectural decisions, and developing scaling strategies
Supporting the sales process with technical expertise and well-founded feasibility analyses
Building a strong trust-based relationship as a technical sparring partner for CISOs, SOC leads, and IT security officers
