About the Role

As part of the Sales Excellence & Growth Pillar team, you will be responsible for helping to develop a high-quality Sales Strategy for our Automotive Division and regional sales teams. This includes analyzing automotive and adjacent markets and creating frameworks and systems that enable our Customer Groups to develop high-quality regional, customer, and pursuit-specific strategies that drive sales growth.

Responsibilities include conducting market opportunity and sales gap analyses, providing actionable insights through sales and market data, and evaluating current strategies to recommend areas for improvement and growth.

You will work closely with regional sales leaders to identify growth opportunities and coach them to create strategies to realize those opportunities, ultimately helping to increase the overall performance of our global sales teams and ensuring they have the strategies and tools to achieve their goals.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, develop, and coordinate Harman's customer strategy framework with regional VPs, SVPs, and sales groups
  • Coach Customer Group Leaders (SVPs, VPs, Senior Directors) in sales and customer strategies
  • Foster collaboration and alignment between global and regional sales leaders and product teams
  • Analyze sales data and conduct gap analyses to inform strategic decisions
  • Maintain and lead Harman’s War Gaming program to enhance pursuit strategies
  • Support portfolio management with market insights and data
  • Report on the impact of sales strategies to senior management
  • Assist in the division’s long-term sales planning cycles with analysis and communication

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years in B2B Sales/Commercial environments, preferably in automotive or technology industries
  • Strong leadership and all-round talent
  • Experience in developing corporate and customer account strategies
  • Data analysis skills and automotive business knowledge
  • Deep understanding of Harman’s product portfolio and technology roadmap
  • Strong international network within Harman
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to operate at an executive level

  • Experience in infotainment/audio, telematics, or connected services sales or program management
