LG Chem Europe GmbH in Frankfurt is seeking a Customer Solution Engineer to support development projects, identify customer needs, and deliver technical solutions. You will conduct experiments, document results, and coordinate with customers and partners while traveling up to 50% across the EMEA region. English proficiency is essential; German/French/Spanish/Polish/Italian/Korean is a plus.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Support application development projects to introduce LG Chem products and grow the market in the EMEA region.
• Identify customer needs, conduct online and offline meetings, and provide technical solutions with required documentation.
• Perform experiments with laboratory equipment and document test results for data-driven solution development.
• Coordinate technical projects with customers and partners.
• Assist customer-led trials, production processes, and co-development activities.
• Manage the complaint handling process.
• Monitor market and technology trends to generate new ideas and opportunities for the team.

For our European Business Group, we are looking for a Customer Solution Engineer (m/f/d) in our Frankfurt office to strengthen our team as soon as possible:

Responsibilities:

• Support application development projects in different industries to help introduce our products and grow the market in the EMEA region


• Identify customer needs, hold online and offline meetings, and provide technical solutions with required documentation, in close collaboration with internal experts


• Conduct experiments using laboratory equipment, maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, and provide data-driven support for technical solution development


• Support the initiation and coordination of technical projects with customers and partners


• Support customer-led trials, production processes and co-development activities


• Manage the complaint handling process


• Monitor market and technology trends to find new application ideas and business opportunities and share insights to help the team prepare for the future

Experience Requirements / Competencies

• Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, or a related technical field


• Open to both entry-level candidates and professionals with 3-5 years of relevant experience


• Experience in automotive-related product development, application development, or technical engineering roles is preferred


• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities


• Structured, responsible, independent, and growth-oriented mindset


• Business fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in German, French, Spanish, Polish, Italian, or Korean is an advantage


• Confident handling of common MS Office applications


• Strong analytical and teamwork skills with a customer-, service-, and solution-oriented approach


• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the EMEA region without visa restrictions and possession of a valid Class B driving license
