Zusammenfassung

LG Electronics VS is seeking a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) for Customer Support in Frankfurt to address initial quality issues in production and after sales, coordinating with global teams.

You will create and verify 8D reports, drive root cause analysis, and ensure timely communication with customers and LG HQ, traveling as needed to customer plants.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• First professional experience in the automotive quality field.
• Creation and verification of 8D reports and other quality management tools.
• Willingness to travel and work in an international team.

Aufgaben

• Analyse initial quality issues in the customer production process and in the field.
• Evaluate and create 8D reports and other quality tools.
• Respond to quality complaints as the first contact related to quality issues.
• Monitor quality trends and initiate corrective actions.
• Define technical root causes for quality issues.
• Ensure effective communication with the customer to resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate communication flow between HQ in Korea and the customer to resolve issues on time.
• Build strong relationships with customer production sites and the engineering team.
• Support quality discussions internally and externally regarding field and plant quality.
• Coordinate resident engineers for each customer plant and travel to plants as demanded.

Quality Engineer (m/f/d) Customer Support

Your Tasks

• analysing of initial quality issues occurs in the customer production process and within the field (defectiveness, field and 0-km claims) related to our products.
• evaluating and creating of 8D reports and other quality tools
• responding to quality complaints/concerns from customer as the 1st contact related to quality issues
• monitoring of quality trends and initiate corrective actions
• evaluation and verification of customer claims
• defining technical root causes for quality issues
• ensuring adequate communication with the customer to solve quality issues
• ensuring the communication flow between our HQ in Korea and our customer to resolve quality issues on time
• building up strong relationship with customer production sites and the corresponding engineering team.
• supporting all quality discussions internal and external in regards to field quality and customer plants quality
• coordinating of resident engineers for each customer plant to ensure fast response
• traveling to customer plants and dealers on demands

Your Profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• First professional experience in the field of Quality in the automotive industry
• Creation and verification of 8D reports and other Quality Management Tools
• Creative, Customer focus, proactive, good team player
• Willingness to business travel
• Communication skills in an international team
• Good English and German language skills
