What you’ll be doing
  • Plan, implement, and optimize customer marketing campaigns across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in close collaboration with Sales and Brand Marketing.
  • Translate brand strategies into impactful, shopper-focused retail activations tailored to channel and customer needs (e.g., dm, Rossmann, BIPA).
  • Develop and adapt POS materials and activation content to maximize visibility and shopper engagement.
  • Support customer meetings and joint business planning through presentations, proposals, and activation concepts.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers to ensure commercial plans are backed by effective marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor shopper trends, sales data, and campaign results using tools such as Nielsen, GfK, and retailer sell-out data.
  • Manage execution and evaluation of trade promotions, including pre/post analysis and best-practice sharing.
  • Contribute to pricing, promo mechanics, and marketing investment decisions with Sales and Finance.
  • Oversee trade marketing budgets by channel and customer, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking.
  • Coordinate external agencies and service providers to deliver campaigns on time and to high quality.
  • Support regional growth by leveraging DACH-based customers with presence in Eastern Europe, driving scalable activations.
  • Academic background in Business, Marketing, or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Several years of trade marketing experience in cosmetics or FMCG, ideally within fast-moving retail environments.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing shopper and trade marketing campaigns that drive sales.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to connect brand strategy with customer execution.
  • Solid experience in budget ownership and trade promotion analysis.
  • Hands-on proficiency in MS Office and comfort with sales/marketing data tools (e.g., Nielsen, GfK).
  • Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” mindset and passion for customer and market dynamics.
  • Up-to-date with shopper trends and retail marketing best practices.
  • Fluent in German and English.
