Customer Quality Engineer

Location: Germany, Strasbourg

Excellent communication skills in both German and English.

We are working with a leading player in intelligent sensors and embedded motor controllers for automotive and industrial electronics. Your Role

  • Execute customer quality-related processes (APQP, safe introduction, change notification, incident resolution).
  • Coordinate root cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Handle customer incidents, including preparation of 8D reports in line with customer requirements.
  • Define and manage task priorities to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through calls, meetings, and visits.
  • Act as the main point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues.
  • Initiate and manage escalations to safeguard customer expectations.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical and/or quality engineering, ideally within semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of automotive quality standards, tools, and systems (e.g., IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
  • Familiarity with statistical methods (e.g., Weibull) and understanding of magnetic sensors/microcontrollers is a plus.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
