IMPACT starts with us: As a Customer Project Buyer (f/m/d), you will focus on ensuring supply chain resiliency and business continuity for customer-specific projects. You will manage strategic procurement actions, support tendering competitiveness, and drive execution excellence. This role is designed as a development path toward a leadership role in Customer Project Process, ideal for candidates with EPC experience and leadership ambition.

When and where? Starting immediately in Regensburg. Vacation: 30 days per year. Weekly working hours: 35 hours (5-day week) in accordance with the IG Metall collective agreement.

Your IMPACT:

1. Define procurement strategy for each customer project, execute project negotiations (including digital awarding by e-auction), identify alternative sources, and redesign actions to optimize project material costs considering lead times and supplier capacities.
2. Define and execute actions on supply chain resiliency and business continuity, such as multisourcing, logistic agreements, supplier risk management, and tailored terms & conditions.
3. Support sales and project management to improve competitiveness during tendering to increase success rate.
4. Ensure early involvement of procurement and supplier strategies in project stages.
5. Take full responsibility for identified alternatives during tendering and execution, reporting productivity gains.
6. Drive project-specific sourcing strategies and contribute to CPP Procurement Roadmap execution, coordinating with other team members.
7. Participate in CPP workshops and Value Engineering initiatives to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mega project execution and transformation goals.

Your Profile:

• Master's/Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field with focus on Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement or EPC.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change in complex organizations.
• High customer focus, resilience, and ownership.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
