The Role

We're looking for a dynamic individual who can revolutionize relationship management, drive account growth, and boost profitability. You will create, maintain, and develop deep customer connections, bringing the best of Kyndryl to the table and building trusted relationships with top-level executives.

As a Customer Partner, you'll be at the forefront of proactive account growth in Germany. Your responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers and key business executives, responding to client queries, and identifying new business opportunities among existing and new customers.

You will lead one or more accounts and be the driving force behind generating new opportunities and expanding existing work into larger scopes and new capabilities. Building a strong go-to-market pipeline with our partners, you'll pursue and conquer new deals, elevating Kyndryl to new heights.

With your deep knowledge of IT best practices and external industry practices, you understand their impact on our customers. Staying ahead of the curve, you'll continuously provide innovative solutions that position Kyndryl as a market leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Create proposals, respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to maximize profit and growth
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing and new clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and prepare reports
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven work experience (5+ years) in account management or a relevant role
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-level
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in complex environments with clients and internal teams
  • Knowledge of business and technology trends within IT
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in IT, Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Sales experience in technical solutions
  • Subject matter expertise in areas like Cybersecurity, Mainframe, AI, etc.
  • Cross-functional team management experience
