- Convincing Background: You have a degree in economics, an apprenticeship in forwarding and logistics services (all genders) or a comparable qualification.
- Skill Journey: You have a strong background in supply chain management, shipping, and logistics. Your deep industry understanding enables you to navigate complex logistics challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Strong Communicator: You are fluent in French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus but not mandatory.
- Process Designer: You will work closely with our customers to develop and maintain efficient, customized processes. You will share your technical expertise and understand customer needs to develop innovative solutions.
- Analytical Skills: You proactively seek to improve and optimize processes through continuous monitoring and analysis, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and implementing solutions successfully.

Your tasks
- Daily Business: As a Customer Care OPS, you will handle import and export processing for the African market, ensuring smooth operations from order acceptance to delivery.
- Tracking & Trace: You will monitor shipments, keep customers informed, and use tracking technologies to oversee the logistics process. You will proactively address deviations or delays to ensure timely delivery.
- Customer Focus: As the primary contact for our African customers, you will support business processes, handle inquiries, and resolve issues, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Escalation Management: You will liaise between customers and suppliers to resolve conflicts and handle concerns professionally.
- Business Relationship Development: You will build sustainable relationships with partners and customers in Africa, strengthening SCS's market position and supporting long-term success through active networking.
