Job Type: Permanent

Location: This role is based in Frankfurt, Germany, with time spent working in the office and at home.

Flexible working: Following the German local policy for flexible working, you can work both in the office and remotely. Only 4 days of presence per month at the Frankfurt-Niederrad office are mandatory. In addition, a working time account facilitates a healthy work-life balance, and the weekly working hours of 38.5 hours can be arranged flexibly between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.

The role

The Service Team for Occupational Pension Plans (bAV) is the central contact for our customers and business partners. As a customer advisor (m/f/d) in our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive written and telephone support to our customers and handling all inquiries regarding existing contracts, primarily through direct insurance. This role holds:

  1. Responsibility for the highest service standards and independent telephone and written support of business partners and customers, adhering to defined service levels.
  2. Expert advice on Standard Life products, customer and agent inquiries regarding offers and contracts, particularly in the direct insurance implementation process.
  3. Complete process management from customer inquiries to the creation of addendums, including processing contract amendments and payouts.
  4. This role is located in Germany. Work and Residence Permission for Germany as well as fluent German Language skills are a must.

What are we looking for?

  1. Professional Training (Ausbildung Versicherungskaufmann (m/f/d)). Additional training as an insurance specialist (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  2. Good knowledge of German labor and tax law relating to occupational pension schemes, particularly for direct insurance is desirable.
  3. Professional experience in the service area of occupational pension schemes is desirable.
  4. Strong communication skills, strong customer focus, and the ability to work in a team.
  5. High motivation for change, a solution-oriented and decisive approach, and a high degree of commitment.

Essential Requirements

  1. Work and residence permission for Germany.
  2. Fluent German language skills.
  3. Professional training “Versicherungskaufmann/ Versicherungskauffrau” (or foreign equivalent).
